The Flooded Forest, Kampong Phluk

Located within the floodplains of Tonle Sap, Kompong Phluk is a village of tall stilted houses surrounded by serene flooded mangrove forest. We took a boat through the forest. At times during the year the lake level gets much higher as we saw litter hanging much higher above us in the trees.
